Our patented approach to an AI Extraction Cup. Ninety-three years after Bialetti's moka pot set espresso free, the ritual rises again — pressure, temperature and time, returned to your hands. Not more convenient. Not faster. Purer.

You're sincerely invited to co-create with PURA. This cup is packed with capabilities and sensors — and it still needs your honest feedback; we keep improving. Every brew, every rating, every extraction curve you create is a shared achievement. Sign your curve in the app and share it with every PURA device on earth — together we taste, together we improve. For pure coffee.
Every wave gave something back to people. The first gave convenience. The second gave the third place. The third gave terroir back to the bean. PURA argues for what comes next — café-grade, competition-inspired recipes you can reproduce beyond the counter.
Coffee as fuel. Freeze-dried, uniform, everywhere. Flavor was the price of convenience — and everyone paid it.
ConvenienceCoffee as social currency. Espresso, latte, a sofa between home and office. The ritual was sold back to us — by the cup.
ExperienceCoffee as craft. Single origin, light roasts, brewing quantified to the gram and the second. Beautiful — but locked behind skill, gear and counter space.
CraftOur reading of what comes next: moka wisdom, third-wave craft, stable 9 bar at the puck, Brew OS curves, and shared results — compressed into a cup you can take anywhere.
The Wave Riders ·Early espresso patents — café espresso begins; pressure enters the language of coffee.
Pressure leaves the café and enters every kitchen.
Shelf-stable convenience — flavor pays the bill.
Mid-20th-century pump espresso settles ~9 bar at the puck as a widely taught café reference.
Pour-over tradition (roots early 20th c.; later specialty revival).
Capsule systems (commercial consumer era ~1980s).
The term names a craft movement already building around origin, roast, and method.
Stable 9 bar at the puck, Brew OS curves, Taste Wiki results — our thesis for reproducible specialty beyond the café.
Espresso's pressure. The moka's structure. The pour-over's curve. The capsule's ease. PURA is not a new gadget — it is the iteration of a century of brewing.

Alfonso Bialetti invents the moka pot. Espresso leaves the café and enters every Italian kitchen. The first democratization of pressure.
Early 2000s — “Third Wave” names a craft movement already building around origin, roast, and method. Examples, not founders — craft still largely stays behind the counter.
PURA. The moka meets AI. A cup that heats, pressurizes and learns — the second democratization of pressure. Berlin, IFA: the world sees it rise.
Café espresso often targets ~9 bar at the puck as a reference — but most portables rarely hold it. Neo Pro is built to. PURA began with a simple refusal: why shouldn't specialty pressure travel with you?
A coffee bean crosses a thousand variables from seed to cup — soil, altitude, rain, process, roast, grind, water, pressure, time. Most machines surrender to them, serving everyone the same fixed recipe. PURA refuses.
PURA comes from the Latin pūrus — pure, undiluted, uncompromised. It is the one word the entire coffee philosophy points to. We engineer for it: stable pressure at the puck, Brew OS curves you can see, and photo-to-curve suggestions today — with deeper taste-learning on the roadmap.
Behind PURA is a small atelier of three obsessions. Every product must be signed by all three before it ships — or it does not ship at all.
Defines what is beautiful. A cup you want to hold, photograph, and leave on the table — not hide in a cabinet.
Defines what is delicious. SCA-certified palate, championship curves, and the stubbornness to say "not yet" to a hundred prototypes.
Defines what is reliable. Drone-grade power, ±0.5°C (±0.9°F) control, seven layers of protection — physics, not promises.
Founded by Black Zhang with Carter Yao — Chief Product Officer and SCA Barista Skills Professional: barista, engineer, roaster and trainer in one pair of hands — together with sensory specialists, engineers and designers. One machine that puts temperature, pressure and time back in your hands; one that is built so Brew OS can grow with you — deep taste-learning is on the roadmap. Coffee, on your terms.
Our patented / filed fusion of an electric pressure pump with the moka pot's bottom-up structure. Water rises through the puck; coffee rises into the cup. Open the lid — and drink. No stove, no pouring, no parts to reassemble.
Brew OS today: photo-to-curve suggestions and programmable multi-stage brew curves. A taste profile you can shape with ratings is on the roadmap — we do not claim Cup 10 signatures or that the cup already “knows you.”
Power management descended from drones: a 34.56Wh · 10.8V pack driving up to 140W peak thick-film heating (heating design targets per Tecnica) through seven layers of protection. Operating design target −10°C to 55°C (14–131°F) — same cup, same curve.
Upward-extraction structure, pump-as-sensor algorithms and aerospace-grade power management are covered by multiple filed invention patents. Innovation here is not a slogan — it is claims on paper.
Portable extraction built to hold café-reference pressure at the puck — Φ72 × 185 mm, up to 140W peak heating, 34.56Wh pack — per Tecnica.
Live telemetry, programmable multi-stage profiles, and photo-to-curve suggestions today. Deep taste-learning from your ratings remains on the roadmap.
The result layer: shareable brew codes and community recipes so specialty taste travels beyond one café counter.
Low pressure wets the puck like first rain on dry soil — gently waking the grounds, pushing CO₂ out before the storm.
A held breath. The bed swells, aromas open, the puck compacts evenly — the foundation every great extraction stands on.
Stable ~9 bar at the puck. Steady pressure pulls sweetness, body and crema — the café reference most portables miss.
Pressure steps down with grace. The bed settles; extraction intensity eases so bitterness never gets a visa.
A slow release to zero. The last drops fall sweet, the puck stays intact — clean finish, easy clean-up.
No screen trick — the espresso really climbs on its own. Watch it rise, then drink.
Every other portable machine fights physics. PURA brews upward — the moka way. Water pressure and gravity compact the puck together; crema, lighter than coffee, floats to the top on its own.
And then comes the sight every PURA owner films at least once: coffee rising slowly from the bottom of the cup — la salita, the rise. It is our visual signature, and the moment engineering turns into theatre.

| Heating | 140W max thick-film | Room temperature to 96°C (205°F) in about three minutes — no kettle, no stove, no waiting. |
| Temperature | 70–96°C · ±0.5°C | Four-stage PID management: preheat, ramp, hold, keep-warm. The last drop as hot as the first. |
| Pressure | stable 9 bar at the puck | Stable 9 bar at the puck — the golden point of espresso physics — with a programmable multi-stage curve from pre-infusion to gentle release. Not a 40-bar extraction story. |
| Water | 70 ml max · 50 ml best | A 70 ml tank with a marked max line; 50 ml is the sweet spot for a single espresso-style cup. |
| Sensing | The pump is the sensor | Pressure and flow are inferred in real time from pump current — lab-calibrated against five water temperatures and seven voltages. No fragile pressure sensor to drift or break. |
| Power | 34.56Wh · 10.8V · USB-C PD | Drone-derived battery management, seven layers of protection, −10°C to 55°C (14–131°F) operating range. 45 W PD fast charging — same cable as your phone. |
| Safety | 7-layer protection | Over-pressure, over-temperature, dry-boil, blockage, over-time, back-flow and drip protection — guarding every cup from first drop to last. |
| Interaction | One button · light halo | Single press, double press, long press — a full-color LED halo tells you heating, brewing, done, or fault at a glance. BLE 5.0 to the PURA app. |
| Form | Φ72 × 185 mm · ≤650 g | A cup, not a machine. PVD-coated body with a titanium drinking rim, a stitched leather band — and a silhouette that belongs on a Milanese countertop. |

Pour in ground coffee and water. Press once. About three minutes later (design target from cold), coffee rises from the bottom of the cup — heated, pressurized and choreographed across five acts. Photo-to-curve is available today; deeper taste-learning is on the roadmap.
Official leather band colors — swap in seconds. Silicone rings also available: Forest Mist Green, Deep Sea Blue, Milk White, Blossom Pink.

Kraft outer box, molded paper-pulp tray — packaging that protects like foam and returns to the earth like paper.

In the box: Neo Pro · tamper & dosing ring · coffee scoop · puck blower & cleaning block · USB-C PD cable · storage pouch · Flavor Correction Guide · Care Tips card. Capsule adapter (optional dual-mode) is secondary — ground coffee is the pro path. Capsule adapter (optional dual-mode) is secondary — ground coffee is the pro path.

At IFA Berlin 2026, under a banner that read "The future is now", PURA Neo Pro made its public debut. Baristas came for the nine bars. Engineers came for the pump-as-sensor trick. Everyone stayed for the rise — coffee climbing out of the cup, phones climbing out of pockets.
Our booth card said it best: Like what you see? Let's talk coffee.

Five live curves — pump power, temperature, inferred pressure and flow — drawn as the cup brews. Plan in dashed lines, reality in solid ink. No fake progress bars, ever.
Today: explore photo-to-curve and Brew Cards. Deeper six-axis taste-learning that redraws from your ratings is on the roadmap — not a shipped promise yet.
Every brew logged against your daily goal. Green below 80%, amber near the line, a gentle intervention past it — cup by cup, you stay in charge.
Every recipe becomes a poster with a pura://brew code. A friend scans it — and brews your exact cup on their own Neo Pro, anywhere on Earth.
Pair once over Bluetooth, and the Neo Pro becomes an instrument under your fingers: pick a recipe, fine-tune every act, press brew — then watch five live curves as the physics happens. Firmware updates arrive over the air, so the cup keeps getting smarter long after unboxing.
Choose a recipe card — signature, champion, or a friend's pura://brew — and the full five-act profile downloads to the cup in a blink.
Pre-infusion time, bloom, main-extraction temperature, per-act pump power — open for the curious, safely bounded for everyone else.
Temperature, pump power, inferred pressure and flow stream to your phone as the espresso rises — plan in dashes, reality in ink.
New curves, new protections, new tricks — the cup you buy today is the dumbest it will ever be.
Pump current is read fifty times a second; pressure and flow are reconstructed in real time. The motor is the sensor.
Rate cups and shape a taste profile in Brew OS. Deeper AI taste-learning is on the roadmap — photo-to-curve is available to explore.
For each coffee, a single suggestion card: grind, dose, curve. Clear, calm, actionable — advice, not small talk.
A saved curve becomes data. Scan the code and your Neo Pro can replay it — bloom by bloom, drop by drop.
The official cut: upward extraction, crema in slow swirl.
Engineering prototype, real brew: cold water in, crema rising — 90 seconds, no cuts.
Cups rated, curves shared, a weekly challenge on the run — the taste network is alive.
The app matches each coffee with its ideal brew curve — recreate the same profile anywhere on Earth. Log it yourself, or let the app track every brew, cup by cup.
Explore our coffee →In the box: Neo Pro · tamper & dosing ring · coffee scoop · puck blower & cleaning block · USB-C PD cable · storage pouch · Flavor Correction Guide · Care Tips card. Capsule adapter (optional dual-mode) is secondary — ground coffee is the pro path.
Charge fully (about 2 hours, until the halo turns solid green), pair with the PURA app, then rinse: run two full tanks of plain water through the system — no capsule, no grounds.
Ground coffee is the pro path: typical 14–16g class puck target — follow the in-app Brew Card for dose, grind, and curve. Capsule adapter (Nespresso-compatible) is available as optional dual-mode secondary use.
Double-press to wake, load grounds (or optional capsule via adapter), add ~50 ml of water (never past the 70 ml max line), close the lid, long-press 2 seconds. When the halo blinks green three times — open and drink, straight from the cup.
White breathing = waking up. Blue = standby, Bluetooth connected. Orange-to-gold flow = heating. Golden swirl = extracting. Green ×3 blinks = ready to drink. Red pulse = battery under 20%. Rainbow flow = status / celebration (not “AI is learning”).
Yes — the Ø72 mm base fits standard cup holders, and upward extraction means it never leaves the holder: the lid opens on top and you drink from the cup. Operate it parked or at a red light, and keep it upright while brewing.
Single-press the power button: a full green ring is 75–100%, three-quarter yellow is 50–75%, half orange is 25–50%, quarter red is below 25%.
Today: photo-to-curve suggestions, Brew Cards (grind, dose, curve), and programmable multi-stage profiles. Deep taste-learning from ratings that builds a unique long-run profile is on the roadmap — we do not claim Cup 10 / Cup 100 signatures yet.
Yes. Advanced users can program up to 8 stages of temperature, pressure and time in the app — the signature five-act curve is your starting point, not your ceiling.
Remote start/stop, a recipe library plus community downloads, light-ring customization, device monitoring (battery, temperature, brew count), AI bean-pairing suggestions, and Bluetooth OTA firmware updates.
Discard the capsule or grounds, rinse the basket and adapters, run one water-only cycle to flush the channel, brush the extraction path with the included brush, and wipe the body dry.
Weekly: soak all removable parts (lid, basket, adapters) for 10 minutes in warm water with neutral detergent, brush, rinse thoroughly and air-dry. Monthly: descale with 1:1 white vinegar and water through a full cycle, then 2–3 clear-water cycles until no vinegar smell remains.
Never immerse the body (IPX4 is splash-proof only), never use a dishwasher or abrasive cleaners, never charge above 45°C or with a damaged cable. For long storage, leave the battery at about 50%.
Won't turn on: charge 15 minutes first. Red fast-blinking: long-press 3 s to reset. Slow extraction: grind too fine or tamped too hard. Weak taste: follow the Brew Card dose (typical 14–16g class) or use less water. Bluetooth fails: stay within 3 m and toggle Bluetooth. Leaks: re-tighten the basket and check the seal.
12 months from purchase, covering quality issues under normal use — excluding human damage, water ingress beyond IPX4, and self-disassembly. Support: support@pura-home.com.
Back-to-back brews warm the battery. When the over-temperature protection trips, the halo turns red — set the cup down for about 30 minutes and let it cool before the next brew. It is one of the seven protection layers, not a fault. Pure coffee rewards a little patience.
A 45 W USB-C PD charger is fastest. A plain 5 V / 1 A adapter works too — just slower. Input rating on the base: 20 V / 1.7 A (MAX).
A 34.56 Wh pack (10.8 V, 9600 mAh) drives up to 140 W of heating power — small cup, serious energy.
An anti-misfire design: press once, then long-press within 2 seconds, so the cup can't be squeezed awake inside your bag. It also shuts down automatically after 5 minutes idle. The seven protections start before the machine does.
A built-in 6-axis gyroscope watches the cup's attitude. If it tips too far mid-extraction, the cup alarms and stops immediately — anti-scald, anti-spill, anti-dry-boil. Keep it upright while brewing.
The portable AI extraction cup. Stable 9 bar at the puck, Brew OS, photo-to-curve. Coffee on your terms — personal, outdoor, travel.
The titanium-finish Neo Pro line. Same Brew OS foundation, elevated materials — still stable 9 bar at the puck.
